Overview
In this suggested one-hour elective course, ESL, EFL and ESP students
at intermediate levels and higher are exposed to American culture,
humor, current events, music and documentaries. The class utilizes
readily-available video cassettes of television programs and is
divided into a three-part format.

Planet
Television is an ideal adjunct to academic courses, as it allows
learners to take in and respond to the compelling visual imagery
and new language stimuli. Students build confidence and find this
course both relaxing and rewarding.
